What is LFP?
LFP stands for lithium iron phosphate. It is a lithium-ion battery chemistry known for its safety, long cycle life and consistent performance. This makes it ideal for industrial vehicles that require reliable uptime.
What is NMC?
NMC stands for nickel manganese cobalt. It is a lithium-ion battery chemistry known for its high energy density, compact design and strong power delivery. This makes it ideal for mobile robots and applications where long runtime and minimal weight are critical.
What is Li-Po?
Lithium-polymer is a lithium-ion battery technology that uses a gel-based electrolyte instead of a liquid one. This allows a very light construction, a flexible form factor and high power output. It is ideal for drones and applications where low weight and long flight time are essential.
What is the lifespan of LFP and NMC batteries?
LFP battery cells are typically rated for around 4,000 cycles with approximately 80% capacity retention after 4,000 cycles. NMC battery cells generally offer around 3,000 cycles, depending on the specific cell design and operating profile.
Do your battery packs support CAN communication?
Yes. All MILA Nordic battery packs are equipped with CANbus communication as standard and can be configured to match your specific system protocol: CAN 2.0A/B, CANopen, J1939.
What is the lead time for a battery pack?
Our typical lead time is 4–6 weeks for predesigned batteries.
To reduce downtime and increase flexibility, we also offer to stock your battery packs, so they are ready to ship whenever you need them.
Can I get support if there’s a problem with a battery?
Yes. Some of our battery packs come with built-in diagnostics and remote support via the MILA Nordic app, allowing you to read error codes and troubleshoot in real time. For further assistance, our engineering team is always ready to help.
