MILA Nordic has come a long way from its early days — what began in a garage is now evolving into a scalable, high-quality battery manufacturing setup in Roskilde, Denmark. With support from the Danish Technological Institute and MADE, we’re taking key steps to automate parts of our production process — enabling us to scale efficiently while maintaining the flexibility, quality, and local production our customers expect.

The project focuses on developing smarter assembly methods that support future growth and cost-efficiency — without compromising on customization or safety. From welding processes to cell handling, automation plays a key role in making battery production more robust and competitive in Denmark.
